Wood Waste comes in many forms - from off cuts to chips to dust. Hand-loading off cuts or automatically screw-feeding dust or hogged material is not always practical. We have found that many companies with large off cuts and no dust or shavings, may opt for a chipper/hogger and automation silo system.
In 1998 we introduced a bag loader system for customers who have dust or shavings collected in bags. With the explosive nature of dust, it was always impossible to hand-load safely into a unit, normally a silo and automated screw system. We developed the bag loader to safely hand-load bags of dust, through a small unit which screw feeds it directly into the heater. One of its advantages is that it is a simple matter to change over to a storage silo method using the existing heater at a later date.
